Notice of Upcoming City Council Candidate Filing Period
The City will hold a General Municipal Election on November 3rd, 2026 to fill three (3) City Council seats.
Individuals interested in running for City Council may obtain nomination papers from the City Clerk's Office beginning 9 a.m. Monday July 13th. The nomination period closes at 3 p.m. on August 7th unless extended pursuant to California Elections Code.
To be eligible to hold the office of City Council Member, a candidate must be a registered voter residing within the city limits at the time nomination papers are issued, and must meet all other qualifications required by California law and the City's Municipal Code.
