Join the Dunsmuir Resource Center, CORE, FireSafe Council of Siskiyou County, Dunsmuir Firewise, and the City of Dunsmuir for a Wildfire Preparedness Workshop on Friday, August 15th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Dunsmuir Community Center (4841 Dunsmuir Ave).
A short presentation (5-10 min) will be given on the two wildfire projects currently underway in Dunsmuir, and there will be the opportunity to sign up for the free work for those who are interested.
About eight stations will also be set up, covering everything from evacuations to forest health.
And there will be food provided by CORE and the FireSafe Council.
