The City of Dunsmuir is monitoring the Soda Fire on Girard Ridge, above the city to the east.
Fire crews are actively working the fire, including air resources.

The Evacuation sirens will only sound if an evacuation order is issued within city limits; however, the siren cannot be heard in all parts of the city, so sign up for Ready Siskiyou to ensure you get the notice.
